Today was a day spent grocery shopping, doing laundry, and catching up with people. I spent most of the afternoon in my kitchen, making daal and tabouleh. I love soup during the winter, and during these months I try to keep my house bright and cheery so as not to let the cold get to me. The vase and flowers came from Ikea. They sit in a little window on the wall separating the kitchen to my living room. I love this fixture. I also love my kitchen, and spend lots of my days cooking in there :)
