Today happens to be the birthday of my bestest friend in the whole wide world.
Josh is someone who is like my brother, my partner in crime, and the one person I know who will be there for me, hands down, when I need it. I love him more than anything, and don't quite know how I lived the first 18 years of my life without him. The friendship we have is one in a million and its something I will always cherish for the rest of my life.

Words cannot even express how happy I am that this week is OVER. Party tonight... maybe.
This week has been exceptionally tough, and I have been making it through on lots of yogi tea bags and lots of breathing and hoping.
I have never had fujio fruit until I came here. Its divine. Also, NZ has the best kiwi fruit I have ever tasted. Two good things about these islands.

We drove out to Mission Bay this afternoon in search of ice cream. We found the best in the whole world!
Larissa is one of the few cool people I've met here. We have decided that we're pretty much the same person, and hang out a lot. She's my German speaking friend who also is a social worker and loves yoga and I adore her. This was taken tonight, at her place, before we went to the beach.
I had this amazing raspberry lemon merengue cake today for afternoon tea... friggen amazing. Thank you, Blossoms Cafe.

We drove about an hour out of Auckland today to pick up milk, and on our way stopped at the beach. Being the water sign I am, I ran right into the ocean - boots, socks, jeans, and everything else. It was amazingly gorgeous.
There was soooo much fog this morning it was unreal. This picture doesn't do it justice, but it hung around until 9, when the sun got stronger and it disapated.
I felt like this most of the day at work today... ai yi yi yi. TGIFT.
Today Emma and I drove to Davenport, across the bay in Auckland for lunch and some beach time. Here is Auckland across the bay.
Sometimes, I see the Sky Tower and I immediately think of the CN Tower and feel a little comforted and don't miss Toronto so badly. Really though, I think I miss the people and my friends... one in particular ;)
This little guy is a cat who lives on our agency property. He doesn't have a name so I have christened him Cyfs. He is very well taken care of. And such a big sweetheart.
