My patch wipped up a lovely morning tea for me in honour of this being my last week at work. It was so precious and totally unexpected. I am so going to miss these people and I'm really, really sad to leave. Maybe I'll come back :)
so over the past eight weeks, I HAVE learned to drive on the other side of the road and I've been going out a lot... funky. I still don't see how people don't crash their cars turning right, but whatever.
Pictures are going to be hard to come until about next month, since we've managed to use up our bandwidth in less than two weeks and are not on dial up speeds. I'm severely lacking in patience to upload stuff at the moment.
You know, it was probably worth getting lost just to see all of this.
On our way to Riverhead today, Delores and I got lost and went up to Southhead instead. Although scenic, we were gone about two hours longer than we were suppossed to be. Ooops!
and it feels like forever and a day until I get back :(

But today marks the half way point. I'm almost home.
We got a new HDTV today. Here we see Jim acting ecstatic and setting it up. The living room has been overturned with boxes and styrofoam! In the meantime, Emma and I went grocery shopping.
Today was Emma's 35th birthday. I wish her nothing but love and happiness now and always. Best roomie ever!

Of course, it was too dark inside the Kiwi house to take pictures, but I got to see two kiwi birds finally yesterday at the zoo :)
Larissa and i went to the Auckland Zoo today. Like every zoo, they have a peacock free roaming the premises. Good times.
I changed my contacts today for like, the first time in eight weeks, and noticed that they had numbers on them! I've been wearing contacts since I was 12, and I have never noticed. I guess this is to tell if they are on inside out or not, but I really just look at the edges and pay attention to how they feel in my eyes when I put them on. Weeeeird.
